Welcome to the Purposeful Group Team. An experienced and nimble Head Office team who bring a blend of disciplines from a range of organisations in Financial Services and other industries. The team has been built around our values and everyone works closely with our partner firms to provide support and expertise and share knowledge and best practice.

Meet the Team

david lawrence

David Lawrence

Chairman

David is an experienced financial services leader, having most recently served as Group CEO of Kingswood Holdings Plc, where he grew assets under advice from £2bn to £12bn and EBITDA from £200k to over £15m. This included acquiring and integrating over 20 advisory businesses and securing significant investment to support growth.

Prior to Kingswood, he led the launch of Schroders Personal Wealth and held senior roles at Lloyds Banking Group, including Commercial Director at Lloyds Private Banking. Now focused on supporting ambitious founders and executive teams, David holds a portfolio of non-executive roles including Chair of Purposeful Group and Parallel Employee Benefits.

Richard Rhodes

Richard Rhodes

CEO

Richard began his career at Merrill Lynch with roles in Capital Markets, Corporate, Private Client and latterly the CFO of the International Private Client Bank. Prior to joining Purposeful Group (formerly Finitor Wealth), Richard was the Finance Director for Succession, a Wealth Management consolidator where he was instrumental in raising private equity funding and successfully completing 10 acquisitions. Richard is a CIMA qualified accountant.

Cat Adams

Technology & Integration Director

Cat has extensive experience in leading operational and strategic change projects in the Financial Services and technology sectors and has played integral roles leading change portfolios in both organically grown and acquisition-based businesses. In addition, Cat has managed significant business and system integrations in the Financial Advice sector and excels at promoting collaboration between Group and partner firms, including the successful delivery of a 600-user back-office system change alongside a 10,000 client record data migration. ​

Finance Director

Charlie has over 15 years finance experience across multiple roles and industries. Before joining Purposeful Group (formerly Finitor Wealth), Charlie spent his early career with KPMG audit before moving into industry. At Park Holidays, Charlie was key in helping the business deliver multiple acquisitions, as well as being the finance contact in several private equity transactions. Charlie has a wealth of buy and build finance experience and is extremely well versed at driving efficiency and growth through integration and building high performing finance teams.

Deb Stamp

Senior Management Accountant

Deb brings 25 years of management accounting experience to the Finance Team at Purposeful Group and leads the Management Accounting function. After gaining ACCA membership in 2007, Deb has worked in a variety of industries and companies, including The Royal Albert Hall and most recently worked as a Senior Management Accountant at Park Holidays alongside our Finance Director, Charlie Lawrence. In addition to her Management Accountant experience Deb also brings extensive MI reporting and audit management capabilities.

Aggie Dudlik

Management Accountant

Aggie is an accomplished finance professional with over 10 years of experience in the field of accounting. She embarked on her academic journey by completing her university education in Poland, studying Environmental Protection and has worked in a series of Management Accountant roles gathering experience in a range of industries.

Will Pardy

Head of Compliance

Will has spent over 30 years in retail financial services, with much of that time working in Operations, Risk and Compliance. He has extensive experience in delivering firm objectives in reducing risk and achieving across the board compliance with its regulatory and statutory obligations. He is a keen advocate of the ‘positive compliance’ culture; ensuring that the organisation’s board of directors, management and employees are all committed to ensuring that all applicable regulatory requirements shall be complied with in letter and spirit.

Terry Biggs

Compliance Training and Competence Manager

Terry has worked in Financial Service since 1973, moving to an adviser role in the mid 80’s, and then at area and regional manager level supervising advisers. In 2012 he moved to become a Training and Competence Manager supervising Independent Financial Advisers. His passion is the development of Financial Planners knowledge and experience when dealing with clients to ensure a professional and compliant service is provided at all times.

Diana Lovett

Compliance Manager

Diana has more than 35 year’s experience in Financial Services as both an Independent Financial Adviser and Board Director, working for both national and smaller firms. Managing and training both regulated advisers and administrative staff whilst working closely with the Compliance teams. Having decided to step away from a directly regulated role in the last few years her knowledge and experience now allows her to provide Compliance and Technical support across the Group.

Compliance Associate

Before joining partner firm PFM in 2025 Mike was an IFA and Chartered Financial Planner for 20 years, during which time he ran his own business. Before that, and following a degree in economics, Mike enjoyed a variety of senior positons including Head of Pensions Technical for a major insurance company and Head of Investment Research for a national IFA network.

Hannah Booth

Platform Supervisor

Hannah has over 9 years of experience in financial services, having begun her career at Nationwide Building Society where she developed a solid grounding in regulatory compliance and channelled her award-winning service into professional excellence. Throughout her career, she has continued to build a broad skill set across administration, platform operations, and quality assurance. The principles of Consumer Duty are a key driver for Hannah, and she is committed to delivering consistently positive outcomes for clients. Her technical knowledge and attention to detail support the delivery of high standards across all areas of the business.

Sarah Hartley

Head of Group HR

Sarah began her career in the financial services industry in 2006 where she gained experience and built up her knowledge. She took on a management role in 2018, where she managed the day-to-day office operations, and collaborated with management to support strategic improvements. Sarah attained a first-class honours degree in Management and Leadership in 2021 and took on a functional HR role the same year. Sarah is currently studying for her Advanced Diploma in Strategic People Management with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).

Ruth Power

Head of Group Marketing

After a career in education management Ruth joined partner firm FMB in 2007. After this change of direction Ruth gained the level 6 Chartered Institute of Marketing post graduate diploma. Ruth is Operations Director at FMB as well as one of the principals of the firm.  This role encompasses marketing and business development as well as IT, finance and buildings. Ruth also has an honorary teaching post at Lancaster University Management School and is a trustee for a local charity.
